Opposition is approaching and this will be the best chance to pull in Jupiter images with our smaller scopes. Todd has been hard at this and the image below was acquired on 10 November 2012 at 08-08-33 UT with my SW100ED and DBK21AU618 under less-than-ideal seeing conditions. I hope to see more "small bore" images of The King here in upcoming weeks, let's hope for great seeing. Good Luck!

.....what about "small calibre" images out of big-bore scopes Brian..?!? 
If I get another "shot" at The King I may have to resort to "boutique" sized processings to make 'em look half-reasonable..!

Thanks Darryl, and good luck with opposition Down Under! I think you know I enjoy imaging with all of my scopes, just think it would be nice to remind folks they don't have to have a big Newt or SCT to do lunar and planetary imaging The more the merrier...
