The small white spots in the SSTB and the dark spot near the BA I saw first at this good conditions !
The seeing was not perfect at 500x Ganymed was not often perfectly round, the dark details at 375x on the small disk were heavy to see. Bye Christian

Again, Christian, well done. You are capturing some tone differences in the QE zone. Also, love the way your portray the GRS being darker along the southern edge. The notch in the NEB is interesting, too.
Seems a 10" can do those ovals in the STrB. They are extremely elusive in a 6", a holey grail for me.
But, detail can surely be seen on Ganymede's tiny disc. Placing it correctly can be a challenge, too. Great observation, I never even thought it was possible until Pete mentioned trying it.
