I live in an apartment. To get the most out of my patio I have to place my Atlas right up against the patio rail. When viewing or imaging above 55 degrees the counter weight bar gets real close to hitting the patio rail bars. I have to keep a very close eye on it. I'm worried one night I may get to close and mess up my mount.
Do I have to extend the counter weight bar fully? If I could save 2-3 inches it sure would be nice.
Thanks.

If you can achieve balance with the bar somewhat retracted, I do not see a problem. Blueman
