ISS crossing sun through clouds new
      #5524381 - 11/17/12 01:40 PM Attachment (14 downloads)

This crossing was at about 930 km, so ISS about half maximum size. Unfortunately, it was somewhat cloudy. At the critical time, clouds passed in front of the sun. While the image looked black, I increased the brightness a large amount until I could see it. Therefore the result is very noisy. Canon 40D, 6-inch Astrophysics refractor. I guess I should have removed the solar filter! This is a cropped image.
