There is an achromat situated on what should be the finder reflex mirror under the tube. Anyone have any idea what its purpose might have been? The scope had been used by a gov't agency for surveillance. It wasn't even level, it was tilted by about 1mm. I have no idea what it was used for. It was only attached with two dabs of glue so some acetone allowed it's removal in about 10 minutes.
