I think I just got lucky with the seeing. The seeing was great last night so I collimated my C11, but the transparency was so low I couldn't capture above 15FPS. Tonight the seeing was not as good, but I had moments of above average seeing just as I set up. As the night went on and the eclipse progress seeing quickly deteriorated. I was hoping to make a video of the eclipse, all I got was this image.
Info RGB channels done at 1/31sec. 1000 frames per channel, 50% stacked with AS!2, wavelets done in RegiStax6, sharpening, levels and saturation in PS.
Equipment C11, DMK21au618.as, Generic imported filter wheel, Meade RGB filters, GSO ED2X barlow in front of filter wheel extra distance pushed it to about 3X.

Great work! You should really be pleased with this image, and the transit shadow is icing on the cake. Your processing looks very smooth and natural, quite to my taste...well done sir

Even though we are only like 50 miles away, I think you seeing was a tad above what I had here. I started capturing about half of an hour earlier and the seeing was better when I started and slowly went downhill, not horrible though.
Seeing was supposed to IMPROVE as the night went on :P. I'm still capturing and it seems the seeing has settled down a little, maybe equal to when I first started, but I am fighting a little fog.
Below is what I captured just about the same time as your image.

Yes, calsky called for deteriorating sky, while CSC called it the other way. I think Calsky called it right again. I wish you luck with the rest of this eclipse Zamboni, and that's a real nice image! Youbseem to have captured all the same details I did. Also lets hope we keep getting some clear skies for a while.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Seeing definitely has improved. I'm grring because I looked at my mount a while ago and should have had another half hour till meridian flip. Looked at my remote desktop and Jupiter was gone. Mount stopped the motor early I guess :P. Lost about 10 minutes of captures.
Guess CSC wasn't wrong, but the timing was off by an hour and half . Here is a capture from about half an hour ago.
BTW you should have had the scope out on Friday night....some of the best seeing I have seen up here.

Zamboni it looks like I packed it up just a little early. Looking at my images the first and the last were my best. I probably stayed out for the poor seeing of the light. Here is my last image of the night, it is Europa's contact I. Next clear sky cycle maybe I'll take out the 16".

I decided to make a quick animation using the green channel of the eclipse last night. I am trying to decide if it's worth the effort to go through and make the whole color video...
