(sans cell) a while back. It set on the back burner for a while, so yesterday I installed it in a cell and tube. Focal length is stated as 700mm. I gotta say, this one @ almost F/9 is a lot different than the F/4-5s kicking around. I didn't see any color problem of noticeable significance during terrestrial untill I got to around 60x or so. This would make a nice grab&go scope. I'm working on an altaz mount that clamps to a 4x4 post holding up the sunshade on the back patio. (still more to do on that) I had it out, and spotted an American Airlines jet -WAY- up & off with it by simply hand-holding it at about 20x mag.
