Every now and again the motor gear which is held against the large RA gear by a spring bounces as if the RA is sticking. The manual slow motion control feels a bit stiff but not overly so. Im thinking about tearing it apart to clean it up and relube it. Does anyone out there know if there is a place where I can find info on how to disassemble this mount and more importantly get it back together. A search for EQ2 gave several hits including this one: http://www.cloudynights.com/item.php?item_id=872 I don't know if it's relevant or not. My mount seems to be in much better condition than the one in the artical. The photo of the mount torn appart should help me if and when I tear mine appart.
