Maybe it's just me, but I get an illusion of seeing differential rotation of the cloud bands in the upper part of the image. Never seen that before! Very impressive!

.....I've commented about this great animation before ZZ, and I think it really demonstrates the merit of the ASI120MM cmos camera.....are you still using Sharpcap with it - if so, I'd like to see you use FireCapture and hear your comments about that capture program after all the work that was done to make it compatible..?!?
On another note I've just received an email from Emil with an image of the core (The Trapezium) of M42 and surrounds.....taken with the ASI120MM.....the resolution of this part of the DSO is really quite oustanding and is made up of several hundred 1 second exposures: this suggests that the camera may be very flexible in its use..!

I saw that too, Darryl. It resolved the little 5th star in the Trapezium. I'm impressed.

Yes,I am still using Sharpcap. That no way to use 120MM with FireCapture. I try a beta version before, but it shut down when I chose 120MM from menu.

Hi ZZ - obviously that beta version of FireCapture you used wasn't compatible with the ASI120MM camera - but things have changed a lot since that particular version!!!
You could email Torsten Edelmann @ FireCapture for the latest "build" of FireCapture that is fully-compatible with the ASI cameras, or Sam from ZW Optical.....I'm sure that either person would be happy to link you to the software - and I'm sure that you will find it vastly superior to Sharpcap!
