NGC 6188 redux

The second time I went to Namibia, I imaged this and publish this result

however, improving my processing techniques led me to retry some of my previous processed images. Some of them didn't give me much more then I obtained the first try, but some benefit by the new processing workflow. NGC 6188 is one of them.

Nicola, That's beautiful! It's like celestial storm clouds. The detail and colors are intense. Whatever your new processing is, it works!!

Thanks Gary! Yes, it does work

Basically my workflow is now (for DSLRs):

- IRIS for calibration and frame registration
- PICTools for stacking and stretching
- PixInsight or PS (soon GIMP) for final adjustments

Great job on the reprocessing Nicola - you brought out some really nice contrast throughout the image and improved the colors quite well.

Have you ever tried ImagesPlus? It does all that in one package.

Just sayin'..
