Andre, Well done. I still enjoy the surface effect so much. I understand you use an image when what you're really after is the limb events. It makes your work so much more appealing. Gives it that realism, adds some depth of field. One could imagine it would take hours to etch in that amount of detail.
At first, I thought you were sketching the same events. They appeared to change rapidly. But, as indicated by north, you're capturing different parts of the sun?

Well, you are so kind, thanks a lot my friend. For sure the surface granulation add the total realism of the sketch. I'm glad I adopted this way to illustrate my sketches. Like you said, my goal is to catch the limb's action most than the surface's action. But on days like nov 21st where the surface offered so much details, I can't resist to sketch some of them. And you are correct, I try to sketch all proms on the limb wherever they are and you can see it by the north direction. I saw several sketches where the proms are oriented as seen in the scope, but looking at a sketch where the prom is upside down is less evident than looking at a prom oriented in the up direction. It's why you have to pay attention on which part of the sun you are looking at.

You know what is fun. When lurking on all the sketches of Jupiter, comet, moon or DSO all in almost black and white colors, when you come back to my sketches, WOW these vivid colors are amazingly clear... Try it.
