Only 10 more days to opposition!
In a night of mostly above average seeing, after doing one RGB set and sitting there viewing the blue channel it suddenly became nice and stable. So I proceeded to shoot a BGR set capturing the Io transit along with the GRS during a window of really good seeing.
This is a WinJupos composed RGB, with the moon and shadow aligned separately. When and if WinJupos handles moons it will be really handy, but if not its still a great way to deal with a fast rotating planet! This is a 1.25X image with south up.
Captured with a Flea3 using FireCapture 2.1. Autostakkert collected stack with R6 wavelets. After WinJupos composed some minor alignment had to be performed. Hopefully I got the color right this time, but if it looks off on your monitor let me know. After looking at for a while it becomes difficult to know which way to go.
Comments or questions welcome. Happy Thanksgiving and thanks for looking!

Glenn, wow! Absolutely stunning. The Io detail in front of Jupiter is impressive. Congradulations on that beauty! I'm looking at rare excellent seeing tonight. Thanks for posting

Beautiful. I was hoping you'd be out when I discovered the seeing was pretty good.

Great stuff, Glenn. Judging from your recent output, you're getting a serious stretch of good seeing. The color on my monitor looks a bit over-saturated for my taste, but the level of detail is stunning. Looking forward to more!

Thanks guys!
Jeff - I'm sure you're right on its appearance in front of you. On my laptop it looks a little blue and decidedly not saturated, but on my desktop it looks yellow and a bit too colorful! If the truth is in between I could split the difference.

Hey Glenn great image! Looks like the good seeing was all over the country last night. It was a cool moon event + GRS to get the good seeing with. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!

Thanks guys, and special thanks to Jeff for his feedback. It prompted me to view it with different systems. Its kind of scary how different displays show widely varying results!
I've improved the image by toning it down some with a better color balance.
