On this day too, (and just for information, you understand), Boris Karloff wsa born, (1887), Dr. Hawley Harvey Crippen was hanged (1910) -- (no fun day for him !) and the first Dr. Who was televised in 1963 ! Makes getting older worth while...I think Re the weather, I've just been out hoping to open the Obs (the sky is wall to wall clear) only to find that the wind is too strong for observing. I should have thought about that. The trouble is, like my birthday cake, is that if you have it large enough to fit 54 candles on it, it makes the cake so large that you can't lift it!
