I've wanted a solar scope for a very long time, but could never come up with the $$ at the right time. Finally!!! Yes, when I called OPT, Mike said that they had it in stock. For now though, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. How long ago did that happen to you? Maybe Lunt has figured out how to deliver a clean telescope. No fingerprints, no dust, no tube shrapnel... pristine. The only issue I had was this horrible grinding noise from the focuser, when I turned the focusing knob. Which turned out to be the fine-focus knob grinding against the coarse-focus knob, and easily fixed by moving the fine-focus knob out a teensy bit(thanks Rikki).
