But I found the 9mm T6 to be literally bad in comparison to other options. I compared two 9mm T6s to two ES 8.8mm 82 N2s in daytime and nighttime testing in TV refractors and preferred the ES for both. The ES resolved greater detail in fairly comprehensive daytime resolution tests, and was far better for h-alpha as the 9mm T6 had terrible blackout issues. (The 9mm T6 did require less "in" focus, which can be helpful.) I compared pairs of 13mm T6s to pairs of ES 14mm and 11mm 82 N2s and preferred the 13mm T6s. Again, I do like the 13mm T6 for both solar and night, and find it conspicuously better than the 9mm T6 for solar. In any event, if you like the other T6s for solar that's great. If you get a chance to compare the 9mm T6 to the ES 8.8mm 82 N2 it would be interesting to hear your impressions. For me, the ES 8.8mm blew it away. I know the ES 11mm is well regarded, but neither it nor the ES 14mm impressed me. Btw, I did not incorporate a barlow in any of my evaluations. Just mono or TV Bino Vue (1x). I preferred the ES 14mm today and tonight. Actually, 24mm Pans (25x) put up the overall nicest view of the sun today, though a significantly smaller presentation. It's without question a very good HA eyepiece. My A team solar besides the ES are 11, 9 and 7 T6s, and 1.5X Siebert and 2X TV barlows.
