Yes thats right Jim.
The tube rings and sides of the rocker box are made of two layers of 1/2 inch ply. The altitude bearing wheels are the centres from the tube rings. The tube rings have a 1/8 inch layer of foam tape on the inside. When they are clamped with the the two bolts the foam compresses and grips the tube snugly.

My shiny new Lightbridge 16! This picture was taken while it is waiting for first light. I was actually lucky that it was cloudy when it first arrived as it allowed me to take my time putting it together and getting everything aligned. The most involved part of the assembly was putting the mount together, which wasn’t much. I had it up on its feet in about an hour, then spent the rest of the evening fiddling with it.
Note my first Lightbridge accessory; a nice clean platform to put it on. I never liked putting my Dobs directly on the ground where they can get exposed to a lot of moisture, so I always make a sturdy platform to put them on. This one is a 34”x1/2” disk of exterior grade plywood with a triangle of 2x4 studs attached to the bottom with glue and deck screws.

Here is my 16 inch. It was originally a Meade Starfinder, that I bought in 1994. I don't use it much these days as it's so cumbersome, but do take it out a couple of times a year.

Lots of awesome HM Dobs in this thread. One of these days perhaps. I thought I'd show my setup from the other end of the spectrum. A Wallyworld special that I've managed to tweak into a great little (and cheap) AP rig that can be controlled remotely (mostly). Consists of a 4.5" iOptron Newt with their "Cube" GoTo mount, red dot pistol scope with a webcam attached as a finder, Modified MS Lifecam Studio webcam for imaging, and a bungee system to anchor the tripod for stability. There was a lot involved to tighten up the system, but I'm very happy with the results. My laptop and myself get to stay indoors nice and warm while the scope sits outside. The only time I have to go outside is for focusing. But how does one focus a webcam at prime focus when the scope's outside and everything else is inside? Answer: Streaming the webcam output via wifi to my 10.1" Android Tablet and taking it outside to do the focusing.
