Hello I was able to image the terminator in the region of apennine, in oblique solar illumination. Other than the domes well studied by GLR group Ar1 (top left) Pu1 (in palus putredinis middle rigth) in apennine region are imaged two domes termed Hux 3 and Hux2. Huxley domes 1-2 were studied recently and published by us, while here also Hux 3 is fine. The image is visible in this link below:

Raff,
Those are exquisite images. I'm guessing it was through your 7" Mak? I think I see a ghosting of the Apenine Rille the lighting was really good here as the domes attest. It's been a good week for seeing in CT so I got some nice views too tho none imaged.
You produce some fine images Raff - I'm thinking back to your Sheepshanks resolution. That was a really really fine catch and again here is no different. Tonight I was set up for schroeters, Marius and Suess but the pattern changed and it's now blanketed overcast. I did get four nights in a given week however and that was a change.
Raff have you ever imaged Rima Suess??? I'd like to see this if you have - perhaps you can partially save my dashed observing plans
thanks Pete. Yes rima sheepshans was detected very well with my telescope in april too, with a large mosaic i don't rememeber if you have seen that image. Rima Suess? i don't think, but i have imaged the moon on november 25 but with high humidity, just i will see and i will send my results in next time:) Raf
Pete i have processed my next Marius image, shortly i will send. It was a big field in my opinion. I detected the rima marius and the seeing intially good was less favourable. Raf
