Close-up Ganymede Eclipse Animation new

Jupiter's shadow is just starting to cover the southern limb of Ganymede at the beginning of this animation. I'm always fascinated to watch the eclipse of a moon other than our own. Most rewarding!

Excellent Jim!

I find them fascinating also and caught a similar event about a month ago...but haven't got around to creating the animation yet.

Thanks KM. From every angle Jupiter has really been putting on a killer show!

Well done Jim.
