Some of the Focal (old K-Mart brand) optics are "circle W" The catalog jewelry stores (Ellmans etc) also sold "circle W" stuff. I have no idea who "circle W" was in Japan.

Circle W or Circle Double V?
Not that I have a clue about either  although I've seen speculation on these forums that Circle Double V is Vixen but nothing conclusive  - to complicate matters there is also Double Circle V
