Moon & Jupiter 11/28 new
      #5545010 - 11/29/12 06:33 AM Attachment (52 downloads)

Here's an image of the conjunction of Jupiter with the full moon. I used a Canon EOS T3i on Stellarvue 80mm f/6 refractor on an Astrotech Voyager on my suburban front lawn. This is a composite of two jpg frames, one exposed for the moon and one for Jupiter, combined in Photoshop using layers. Callisto is faintly visible on the original (before I shrunk it down for posting), about 4 planet diameters at 11 o'clock. Ganymede is closest to the planet, then Io and Europa (furthest lower right at 5'o'clock).

Nice one Larry!

I can see all the Gallilean Moons in it on my laptop.
