Hi - anyone know the tripod mounting bolt size on the AT Voyager mount. I have heard M10, but it seems to be larger than that. Also, does anyone know of adapters to mount the Voyager on a surveyor tripod like the Oberwerk?
Thanks! Dave

Hello and Welcome to Cloudy Nights...
I don't know the actual diameter, I thought they used the standard 3/8-16 Bogen Tripod mount thread. ???

If it's a very coarse thread, it's probably 1.75, but there is 1.5 and 1.0 as well.

I used a cast iron end cap from an old weight bench as an adapter to put my Voyager on a Oberwerk tripod. It was a perfect fit. The star shaped spin on end caps from the modern barbells I use would have worked as well. David

I just measured the bolt from my Voyager mount. I have the very earliest version of the mount and I am assuming that the mounting bolt size is the same as the current version. It is a 10mm x 1.5. As for an adapter, I don't think there is anything ready to go. I know that there was a long thread about the Voyager quite a while back that had some really good info regarding adapting it to an Oberwerk tripod. Some BIG washers and a strong mending strip and a drill should do the job. Good luck.

Finally went to the big box store and tried the bolt, it is M10x1.5. Thanks Slack.
NOW the question is - does anyone know of an adapter that I could use so I can put AT Voyager on a Manfroto tripod with the 3/8-16 bolt?
