I have one coming, but while it gets here I'd ask anyone that has one, can they tell me a few specifics please.
I'm after a few measurements, plus maybe a description or picture or two of the "front end".

Ideally, I need the measurements of the objective cell. If there is a thread that can be used then the measurements of that if possible.
A close-up picture of the cell, without the dew-shield would be ideal. I am looking at attaching a solar filter, screw thread-wise if possible.
Also the outside diameter of the dew-shield, so I can make a solar filter cell.

See if you can just order a second lens cap from Lunt and make it from that. Or, let's see, how do I say this, HELLO, It's from LUNT! They should have a solar filter for it!

for that purpose. i would email or call Lunt. it is their scope and they are pros in terms of solar scope.
