Hi Everyone,
I made this observation of the King and posted it in the Solar System Observing forum. A report and notes are with the sketch.
I had problems with clouds moving in and obscuring the view so I made the decision to make a quick and dirty field sketch with notes and made the finished sketch from those resources the next morning. I'm glad I did because Jupiter soon disappeared behind clouds.
The sketch was done on copy paper with a 2B and HB pencil and flipped digitally.
Lots of Jupiter sketches posted--plenty to read and catch up on.

Michael,
Fantastic sketch. You captured much detail, more than I have seen in this go around. You made a wise choice. Always great to see your work.

Frank, Tom--thank you. I'm glad I went ahead and made field notes, but I prefer doing the work at the eyepiece whenever possible. It's so easy to misplace a feature, leave one out, or get proportions wrong when you're working from field notes. For instance, the EZ looks a little too wide to my eye in the sketch. I would have caught and corrected that with an ep sketch.
On the other hand, you can't sketch at all if you're looking at the bottom of a cloud.
