Any sketch of the poodle that you could post here, Phil? I looked at Cartes du Ciel but I'm not good at picking out asterisms.

This was a nice article you wrote, Mr. Harrington. It introduced me to Fr. Kemble and called to memory the cherished Mr. Walter Houston.

I'd like to share my "star-way" to NGC 1502 and Kemble's Cascade. Follow an imaginary line between Beta Persei (Algol) and Alpha Persei (Mirfak) to NGC 1502. It's darn close to a straight line. Stay the nearly 14° course from Alpha Persei and you will soon see NGC 1502 and Kemble's Cascade in your field of view. The stellar bonus of this scenic route is departing from the beautiful Alpha Persei O/B Association.
I did see Amy with North up (Oops! I mean tail up) — and fairly close to your sketch.
After reading this month's tour, I am putting Stock 23 on my target list. Thanks.
P.S. I think I learned of Kemble's Cascade from you, Phil.

Phil, I believe I saw Amy tonight. Was a lot bigger than I expected - it nicely filled the 4° FOV of my 15x60 binoculars. It will probably be a nice sight in a dark sky using a smaller wide angle binocular. Conditions today were too poor to even consider it (but I'm keeping my eyes open...).

I had a second opportunity a bit later and took a 7x35 out. She was still big! Unfortunately the Moon had risen and there was more haze in the sky, so transparency was poor.
