Last night, right after Jupiter obs.

Hit the moon for a quick stop. Was pleased to see Sabine was nicely lit. Slewed over to the Paw and it was just right there, sitting an waiting to be observed.

No atmospheric blur, no nothing. Just plain as day at about x320. I remembered you asked for a sketch, so jotted one down.

Just got in from the afternoon pool gathering, now working on the Jove sketch along with the moons.

Really beautiful sketch. It's like something from a dream...

It does have that almost foggy, lack of detail we'd see in a dream world. Yea, it does. (Neat, maybe, but not intentional I assure you.) Even at over 300x, the area is quite small and enlarged greatly in the sketch. So...

OK, I'll be the first: What am I looking at?
It's trippy looking; but if I knew what it was I could appreciate it a lot better.

Evidence of bovine droppings near the Cat's Paw.

The sketch is of the Paw (fainter of the trio), along with Sabine C and unnamed crater just below. Aldrin (lower) and Collins (upper) are the larger craters on the right. Somewhere in there is Apollo 11 LM just above the Paw.

Maybe I could get Frank to do a better job.
