It would be OK for Lunar, planetary and solar,not so good if you want to do deep sky imaging. These types of cameras are designed to take rapid exposures, and a lot of them to capture brief moments of good seeing and steady atmosphere on smaller objects. Their small chip size and lack of cooling make them less than great for long exposures on extended DSO's.

For planetary, lunar or solar it would be worth it. Not for Deep sky.

If its not an .AS model it may not do long exposures. Good deep-sky can be done if it will do long exposures. so make sure if its capable. for examples of images see:

It says it can do 1/10000 - 30 second exposures.

For $75 give it a try, you can always use it for planetary if it doesn't work out for DSO's. 30 seconds is not a very long exposure for DSO's though.
