I currently have to move my scope about 30' from my garage to my viewing area tword the end of my driveway. Its not heavy, just a little awkward to carry thru the shop and I fear one of these times I'm going to trip on something I don't see and go down with the scope. Was considering these wheelie bars, as there is currently a nice used one for sale in classifieds.
My only real question is how stable are they? Once the stops are down and leveled, is there any noticeable shake while on this as opposed to the ground? Can it be used during long photography sessions?

I've got a set on my C9.25/CGEM rig. As long as you don't touch anything while you're imaging, you'll be OK. The wheelie bar leveling screws are not the "jiggle" problem. The issue is in the gage of the steel channels used in the base. There is a significant amount of twist when loaded on any one of the legs. I plan to figure out a stiffening method when I've got the time. Otherwise, set it up, turn it on, and stand clear.

What I have found that works is the following:
Put a pyramid block below each leveling screw, make sure the pyramid is just below the screw when it is mostly retracted, of course you will have to make sure that the pyramid is not in contact with the wheels. If you can not find the pyramid blocks, use a 4"x4" block of wood at each screw. This will make it such that the entire rig is not resting on an extended screw.

There is a set of JMI Medium wheelie bars on the classifieds for $100. That is a heck of a deal. I have a set on my 9.25/Atlas rig, and it has spoiled me. Like amileggo has said, if you don't touch the scope, you should be ok. They do not give the "rock solid" feel like setting on the ground.
