Orion OAG setup, could this be right? new

Trying to setup my Orion OAG and have the focus roughed in. Focused on some trees about 1000yds away, but need the weather to cooperate to go any further. My question here is do I need to come forward some to achieve focus on further objects? Pictures of setup below:

Did you focus the camera and guider at the same focus spot?
