I have a new iEQ45 and would like to measure its PE. I have downloaded and installed ASCOM drivers, PHD and PECprep. I have a Samsung SDC-435 with an EasyCap and a Canon t3i with live view. I have not been able to get PHD to recognize either camera. With the SDC-435, PHD includes the USB capture under WMD capture but refuses to connect (WXastro capture has no problem). Any suggestion on measuring the PEC short of buying a guide camera?

Thanks - I'll give it a try. I'm easing in (down ?) into astroimaging. I've been doing wide field piggy-back. I would like to do prime focus next but had planned to move into guiding later. The interest in measuring PE is that I've seen in several posts that the iEQ45 can have a wide variation of PE and that if you have one that has poor performance iOptron will swap it out. Apparently you need to get that done soon after buying.

Metaguide works well with my SDC-435 and EasyCap. Thanks for the tip.
