NGC 2158 - Open Cluster In Gemini [Up Close]. Nov 20, 2012
NGC 2158 is very compressed, rich gathering of faint stars. Because of the crowding of its stars toward its center, it has the appearance of a loose globular. [SkySafari Pro]

Now that's neat. I don't think that I have ever seen a close-up of this cluster by itself. Very nice.

Excellent, very nice colors. The stars look soft or slightly blurry but could be the effect of crop.

Thanks John/Scott.
Haseeb, yes, bit of softness is coming from heavy cropping. Thx
