Thanks Carol,
I actually sold a couple of eyepieces, telescopes and other gear that I wasn't using to get a lot of specimens. I also traded several with Mike for different specimens, and I used the bulk of my hobby budget to get what I have now. Now if the weather would clear up, lately all I can do is solar imaging.

Awesome images, Helder!
Starting this Fall/Winter, I want to start upgrading some of my very small specimans to larger ones.

Helder, Awesome images. What equipment were you using?
Note: A little off topic so I won't ask another related question.

I was using a Lunt 60MM Pressure Tuned scope with a 50MM Double Stack. The camera is a DMK41. The below was a better one from 7/1.

I know this is way off topic but that H alpha image is just incredible! One of these days I am going to have to take the plunge and buy a dedicated solar scope. Okay back to meteorites...

Hi Helder,
Some really nice specimens... I enjoy seeing all your new meteorite collection additions. I only wish other members would post photographs of their specimens so we can enjoy their new additions (or old favorites).

I agree; but mine are micro specimens, so photos really don't matter.

Carol,
Some nice close-ups would be nice to see. I still believe size doesn't matter...

Here's a 0.363 gram D'Orbigny. Small but very beautiful...

It would take a lot more magnification than what my camera's macro has.
