So I searched for astronomy and joined a community called 'Amateur Astronomers' and on there they posted a G+ Hangout where they watch and explain an Exoplanet transit of Qatar-1b. That one seemed cool due to the whole 'Exoplanet' thing. The thing I really like is the G+ astronomy Communities. (Plus the other G+ communities I joined.) And you're always invited to broadcast. It has a chat box and only the broadcaster has the mic.
