In celebration of our two-year anniversary on the App Store, Luminos is on sale today (December 11) for $.99 US. Luminos is a universal app that runs on iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch.
It's been a big year. Since December 2011, we've added:
- Support for iPhone and iPod touch, including iOS 6
- New appearance and interface for the entire app
- Mount controls for Meade, Celestron, Astrophysics, iOptron, and LX200-compatible mounts
- Visual improvements to atmospheres, eclipses, planet rendering, lighting, and overall textures
- A "Things you've seen" list
- Battery saver to reduce power consumption during idle times
- Camera support
- Our first localization, Spanish
- Many additional item fields, such as apparent size and illumination
- Much more
Overall, 69 new features and 83 fixes have been included just in the last year.
