This first light is dedicated to Sir Patrick Moore, he will be greatly missed!
I took the scope out early in the day to setup in the observatory:

Just enough room for me.
Now this is the amazing view the Belt Of Orion observatory got its name from:

And this is a shot while tracking the Horsehead:

This is the first light image, a stack of 6 300 second exposure at ISO 1600 of the Flame (Hannukah Candle) and horsehead:

I know the image isn't much I have to get more subs. This image is also calibrated with darks, dark flats, bias and flats.
I have to tell you its a tight fit with the scope and myself in there, the tripod doesn't get in the way, the scope does! I was able to align just fine and polar alignment was the easiest yet! I do see that a PZT (Pod Zenith Table) will be on a birthday list or make my own. I can only get to 70 deg alt!
My Skyshed pod is still leaking! I replaced the seals where the main dome meets the secondary dome and its still leaking, mind you 2 days of pounding rains and 70kph winds don't help. I also noticed condensation/Dew all over the scope and mount, even with a tarp over it! But I have now come to the conclusion I need this: http://www.scopestuff.com/ss_tg12.htm
Anywho, enjoy the images!
Thanks Jeff (RASC Halifax)

I have a leaking issue that I am trying to resolve, we had 70kph winds, 50mm of rain in a night, it blew under the lip and around the two dome halves, as expected. The scope and tarp completely dry! with all of the ground water moving it has created pits under the floor tarp so I have some to the conclusion that if you live in a wet climate like I do, install it on a deck and make a pier and be done with it, which is what I am going to do in the spring!
