If you really want to image with the 9.25 and that's your budget, look for a used Atlas / EQ6 or CGEM. The latter would cost more (maybe $1100). I cannot by any stretch imagine an SVP (which is a clone of the Vixen GP) carrying a CGEM for imaging. It can probably manage a C8, tops. And even so, if you are looking at the SVP, might as well get the Celestron CG5 ASGT. Cheaper, and better. It would be pushing it even for visual use with a C9.25. You would be better off to spend a little more on a used Atlas or CGEM.
