The night of plunging temperatures was accompanied with a veritable comedy of errors. Numerous ASCOM exceptions required restarting the focusser and filterwheel many times before finally settling down. Perhaps I need a more robust USB hub? And I did'nt even mention having to restart the PGR camera a couple of times - perhaps I need a new cable there also!
Seeing was variable with only a few good moments. Focussing was quite difficult and I could find only one decent sequence in the bunch. Using a previous sequence blue channel, this is a WinJupos BRG composition. South up in this view.
Comments or questions welcome. Thanks for looking!

Even with your imaging problems Glenn still an excellent result! Looks like you caught that interesting large festoon coming in to view. Great catch!

Glenn, there's plenty of detail in the GRS wake notwithstanding all the frustrations of the evening. I guess we've reached the point where we need to start replacing some of the electrical accessories; I think the gamepad that I use to slew the scope at slow speeds is beginning to give up the ghost so I can identify with some of what you went through.

Glenn, gorgeous image! Details are sharp. I like the idea of going BRG if the previous B is better. Tonight, I've got 3/5 seeing and transparency so I am hoping to get some good data, its been awhile. Thanks for posting!

Thanks all!
Steve, hope you get some good seeing. The US is plagued with lots of wind, rain and snow so any window you get could be important. Good luck!
Seeing later got pretty bad this night. So bad I went to infrared and even there focus was a guess. I then resorted to bracketing the focus on 4 consecutive sequences. After processing I chose this image. It shows the very dark feature Frank displayed a few days ago, also seen above in the color image coming around. Simple wavelets and then noise control is all that was done.
Thanks for looking!
