Orion 8" astrograph and filter wheels?
      #5570061 - 12/13/12 10:19 PM

Howdy

Any one out there using an 8" Orion Astrograph with a
filter wheel. I see that most filter wheels require
20-25 MM of in focus. I checked my setup with a Meade
DSII and there is only about 16 MM if in focus left. If
your using a filter wheel with the scope, how did you
do it and, what filter wheel did you use.

Regards
Tom

I'm using and Orion 5-place filter wheel on my DSI Pro III. To minimize the back focus I'm using a low profile face plate from ScopeStuff and I screw the camera directly onto the filter wheel.
