hi all,
last night I found good seeing for my little scope.
13.Dec.2012, 150/907mm Dobson, Binoansatz ~180x and ~200x
a) 19:50 MEZ I 309° II 193° V ~180x
b) 20:55 MEZ I 349° II 232° V ~200x
The GRS I measured at II 186.5°.
before
5.12. at 185.5°
and
6.12. at 186°
so all three near around 185-186°.
Bye Christian

and this is my fine 6" Dobson.
I build a sledge deep near the lightway.
A small secondary 1" mirror with a curved holder.

Christian, those are beautiful and speak to a great observing session. You captured a lot of detail and are making good use of such a moderate aperture. I use a 6" too and can appreciate what you see. Well done.

hi all, thank´s for Your answers. I like the 6"er more and more, because the seeing is often ok by using "small" aperture. True that I see more details with my 10"er but I can`t not often go at his limit.

Nice result with a 6" (I can't beat it with my 12").

Yea, good catch, Jim. I believe there is a white oval very near there. They are difficult, IME, with a 6", so yea, I bet he glimpsed it.
