the battery isn't connecting in properly finder

the battery isn't connecting in meade etx ls 6' red dot finder properly, its a pain aligning the telescope, cause if i move red dot finder up it can get out of alignment, but I manage to align the telescope any ideas on how to fix the red dot finder.

never mind my friend has fixed it, it is working now. I noticed moving it up and down, and it worked right away when I turn it on. He took the entire red dot finder apart, I do not recommend that
