Nils_Lars 19 10min subs with no filter at ISO 800 stacked in DSS then adjusted in PS CS2. Canon 500D(modded) , Orion Atlas mount and the lens was the Super-Takumar 135mm F3.5 @ f/5.6 and a 7x40mm finder as a guide scope jambroseus Object: IC1396; magnitude unkn; size 89'; Camera: Canon 60Da; 26 min (26x60sec); ISO 3200; IDAS filter; Lens: Canon 200mm F/2.8L II; @f/2.8; Mount: CGEM; guided; Loc: Cherry Springs, Pa Date: 9-11-12 srosenfraz Here's my submission, M8 - the Lagoon Nebula in Sagittarius: High Resolution Version and more image information available at http://www.astronomersdoitinthedark.com/index.php?c=145&p=458 This image is from a stack of 107 x 3 minutes (5 1/3 hours) at ISO 400 using focus stacking to provide a flat focal plane across the FOV. Imaging train was a Celestron C-8 (orange tube) with a Celestron focal reducer at f/5.8 (1160mm), and a Gary Honis modified Canon 450D. Guiding was with an ONAG on-axis guider, Lodestar autoguider, and Phd guiding. Thanks for looking! Please vote for your favorite image to send to the finals.
