For eg. This Eppley SMT-3 solar tracker is $19,000. There are others that are around $29,000. It's crazy price The astronomy industry has been making 2 axis trackers at extremely low prices. Trackers that can pinpoint and track a galaxy that you cannot even see without a telescope. What am I missing? Can someone explain to me why is there such a huge price difference? An astronomical mounting is not , though you could modify one to be more "Element" (Rain/heat/Ice) usable. Note that this is guiding. "Tracking" doesn't follow anything in the sky; it just turns at the appropriate rate to follow where the object should be in the sky.
