The atmospheric transparency was pretty poor, thin layer of cirrus clouds, but gave it a try anyway. Here's a short video of Comet C/2012 K5. Take note of how the cirrus clouds affect the image intensifier. The comet is quite bright at the moment and is expected to brighten a bit more, really easy to find as well. If either of you can capture a video of it with an image intensifier, I'd love to see them. In October a few of us viewed Comet Hergenrother with my IIE and a 20-in dob. The image of the comet was enhaced by the IIE and an Orion Photographic light pollution filter.
