Does anyone know of any Star Parties (west side of USA) happening in the spring?

RTMC is toward the end of May. Texas is in Spring. Grand Canyon is mid June. The Riverside Astronomical Society holds a party every month.

The Olympic Astronomical Society in Bremerton, WA hosts an annual Spring star party we call Camp Delany star party at Sunlakes State Park in Central Washington state. The dates are 11 to 14 April and more details are at our website: www.olympicastronomicalsociety.org Good Luck!

Hey Cliff, how was the weather last year? I lived just north of the Can/USA border in Vancouver and even in April the weather was *BLEEP* for stargazing.

If you want to go really really west (and south), the OzSkies in Coonabarabran, NSW, Australia is a good spring star party.

We had a couple of good nights. Our fall Delany star party in late September to early October tends to have better weather overall but it is nice to get under spring skies for a couple of days.
