do not upgrade eclips ccd built in stops working, plus do not want to get in trouble

yes this is the 1.6a version for Meade ETX LS 6'
it won't say Meade ETX LS they changed the start up of auto-star to Meade LS 1.6a

I don't know why but the built in ccd camera for the telescope doesn't work no more, I have to do manual alignment, so I would be careful about upgrading

If you tried to upgrade and it did not work, well, you don't have anything tp loose, try it again. You may have had some problem when you tried the first time. Still though, I do not understand some peoples need to upgrade unless you are having a problem. If it is not broke, don't fix it.

I upgrade it, and I do manual alignment and that works for me, Jupiter is fine and Moon and other deep-sky objects, I just don't want to get into trouble if someone else makes a mess on their telescope, that is why I removed the thread
