It is supposed to fix the issue when using a 2 or 3 star alignment and not getting accurate gotos along with some ASCOM upgrades and a user entry set for comets. I did have to use an older (slower)computer as I had a problem loading the Dec and RA files...But it is fine now. There are some new features that the software has.. "Dec. 18, 2012 Firmware upgrade release. We have new firmware upgrade releases for the iEQ series. Hand controller #8407: Ver121213 Main board: Ver120803 RA and DEC: Ver120717 (iEQ45) and Ver120725 (iEQ30) We recommend this upgrade for all iEQ30/45 w/8407 HC. Items changed/fixed: For Hand Controller: • Fixed star alignment bug with Multi-Star Alignment. The minimum requirement is 2 stars. • Removed 2 and 3 Star Align, as well as Display R.A. Axis Error. • In Set User Object: added Set the Comet sub-menu for user entrance of comets • Added ":mn#" ":ms#" ":mw#" ":me#" ":q#" control commands for ASCOM and mount direct control operation For Main board: • Implemented ":mn#" ":ms#" ":mw#" ":me#" ":q#" control commands For RA and DEC: • Fixed "runaway" bug (when slewing the mount using the arrow keys). A new iOptron Telescope .NET ASCOM driver 2.0 is also released: • Updated control commands • Increased time before timeout of RS-232 port to compatible with more USB to RS-232 converters • Added control panel to remote control iOptron telescope.
