i am a new member , i use pocket atlas with collins for my urban observations , can you please tell me how you classify small and large scopes.

Hi Sanath

I classify larger scopes as those over 10 inches in aperture for Newtonians and their corresponding sizes in Refractors and compound scopes.

Now if you have darker than averages sky, you may be able to find some of the "large scope" stuff with a smaller scope.

Now remember that the Pocket Sky Atlas is designed for objects down to about Mag 7 for stars and a bit deeper for DSO's.
