I have the Celestron f6.3 reducer for my c11. Question is will the Meade f3.3 reducer work in a c11?
I want to use a Mallincam with this reducer.

I don't see why not - an f/10 SCT is an f/10 SCT.
I don't, however, know if the Mallincam will play nice; those things depend on the size of the CCD chip, from what I understand. I think you need a pretty small chip for the FR to do its best.

Thanks Rick. I was thinking about the threads and any back focus issues. I could not see any real reason as you say they are made for a f10 scope.
As I understand it the Mallincams have small chips in comparison to an APS DSLR.

Yes it will. I use this exact setup (with an Xtreme).
The Mallincam chips are indeed small and work very well with this reducer.

Thanks Rod.
Another question for the Guru!
have you ever heard anyone using a Mallincam successfully with a hyperstar?
Not sure what the back focus on the Mallincam is and if it would work.
I just wish to get the maximum photons and a wide field into the Mallincam and an wondering which way would work best.
Do you use the F3.3 and Mallincam for a live viewing situation? I want to use it to live view DSO's.
