I'm a beginner astrophotographer living in New Jersey. I've been observing for about a year and a half and have been imaging for about 6 months. I just thought I'd share a few of my images so that everyone can see where I'm coming from. Some of you might recognize these from the Astronomy Forums. As you can tell, I've mostly been doing nightscapes since my telescope is alt/az and not capable of much. But I do plan to replace it with a properly configured refractor soon! Folks here are doing great work with modest priced gear and their resolve and ingenuity, and I include the images you post by saying that. I think I do recognize some of those images, haven't been to that other site in many moons.
