A lot of details were just on the verge of coming through. And for the first time this winter my scope temperature dropped below 0C! Us desert people are'nt used to this, I don't even own a coat! This is a WinJupos RGB composition with north up at 1.1 times capture size. Comments or questions welcome. Thanks for looking! I got antsy to do something last night and went outside to take a look around 11pm, but saw Sirius twinkling like mad and decided it wasn't worth hauling the scope out . Snow tonight, but maybe it will be clear tomorrow night . A little later I captured this image. The seeing was a little better and the green and blue channels were much improved. Anway the GRS is presented almost at the CM. Thanks for looking! I'm glad you persevered. Every time I tried to adjust collimation, I'd lose my star. Never got Jupiter on the chip. And, I was only going for f17...Oh well. I tried.
