Where do you store the counter weight, HC, etc.?

The counterweights are carried in a JMI caddy. (I have 2 that hold 6 CWs). The HC goes into a felt bag and lays on top of the mount. Power and DEC cables fit in between the mount 'crannies'. The tripod etc. is carried in an On Stage Stands mic bag.

If you don't want to bother with the factory foam thing, the mount will fit into one of these with a 'Custom' foam.

I use a nice big Tupperware style box I got from Wal-Mart. Layer of foam from their craft department goes on the bottom. C8 OTA goes on top of that. Layer of foam on the C8, CG5 mount head on top of that. Snap on the lid and off I go. About fiftenn dollars and it has done a fine job for about eight years.
